Emily just grumbled in her sleep. Poor thing, she's sick. I really don't even have a complete thought to form tonight. Mostly a jumbled mess floating around in my head right now, that I lack the energy to sort through. However I did do something fun earlier...it was one of those dumb blog things, but it was "write 6 random things about yourself" it was harder than I expected.

Here's what I came up with:

1. I have to follow a routine for certain random things, such as the way I dry myself after a shower or the certain order I have to turn the lights off in the basement before I go to sleep at home.

2. I pick obsessively at my cuticles and the skin around my nails. If there's anything out of place on them I have to pick it until it's smooth, which, usually just gives me bloody fingers

3. When I was a kid I used to emulate my peers such as the way the wrote, the way they organized their purses or even their desks. It took me a long time to stop doing that.

4. I really really really hate my knees.

5. I know every single word on the Something Corporate "North" album and know almost all the words on the Jack's Mannequin album "Everything in Transit" there are a few parts on that album were I sort of still have to mumble because I'm not sure what he's saying...I have had a bit of an Andrew McMahon obsession since I was 16, I have 48 songs on iTunes that are sung by him and I'm still missing some...

6. I have only seen one Star Wars movie in my entire life and I don't really remember it. Basically now, I think it's funny that it annoys people and makes them mad, so I'm going to put off seeing them for a long time.

Yeah.

I'm lookin' out and some of you are going, "Mmmm I disagree." Well you're the person. You're the person nobody likes. (someone in the audience mumbles, "That's so true.") I know it is so true and that's why it's funny. It is so true that's why it's funny, because it's so true, hence funny.

Tonight I tried out to be a model for ISU Fashion, with Emily, Lexi and Erin. It was actually really fun, at first it was kind of a joke, but to be honest, I really hope I get it. I even dressed up for it and put on makeup, shocking yeah?

Em and I think we should start calling it "Pop Monday" around here. Man oh man, First it was Backstreet Boys and now we've got Jesse McCartney blaring from across the hall. It makes my heart happy.

It's funny how we all grew up in different locations, most of the girls in the midwest, me in the south some in big cities others in small towns, yet, we all still know the words to "Backstreet's Back" and have no trouble singing at the top of our lungs. Boy bands, definately a big part of my generation, well, for the females anyway.

Shoot, I had all of these things to say, but, the boy band music is sucking all of the deep thoughts away from me.

I'd just like to say that I love Brittany Skeens and that she's my best friend. We've changed so much together, just ask her. Seriously and not just physically...though I can easily prove that...

This might be one of the grossest picture of us...ever. But, we still love it. This is from the premier of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, summer 2005 I think. We led cheers at the midnight movie premier, I then proceeded to see it 5 times. Some might call me obsessed.

I painted my nails purple today, yes, I am that much of a loser. I'm sitting by myself on a Friday night watching specials about haunted houses on the Travel Channel. Man, could my life be anymore exciting?

But seriously, I'm really really really ready to go back to Ames. I took half of my stuff up today, it was so hard for me to come back home after that. Ames really is my home now. I love it there. I can't wait for Sunday or Monday when we start classes again.

I might join a sorority next year too? I haven't fully made up my mind on that one, still looking at the ones available and their websites. Right now, I like Tri Delta, Chi Omega and Pi Beta Phi. But, we'll see. I might just go to formal recruitment next fall so I can move in early and check everything out, that way, I don't have to join one if I don't want to.

Alumni basketball game tomorrow, I don't really want to go that much, eh. Oh well, it will be fun I s'pose.
