you know what's incredible to me? my high school classmates. there were about 10 of us at my house last night, sitting around smoking hookah for 3 hours just talking. most of us hadn't seen each other in 6 months or more but we could all sit and talk about what had been going on in our lives we talked about serious things about past, present and future at the end of the night...which was around 4 a.m. i realized that these people would forever be the ones that i trust the most in my life it's incredible how easily we can just open up to each other, fill each other in on what's going on. even the painful things. incredibly personal and painful things. after i moved to iowa i realized i'd never have lifetime friends, the friends you grow up with your whole life. and i mourned for the loss of that. i look back on that now and realize how very very wrong i was. i do have lifelong friends. i love them all so much.
